Vintage Moments

Vintage Moments LLC is an assisted living home formed by Kathy Mason and Lisa Butzlaff in Spring 2007.

Through their many years of experience working in nursing homes and assisted livings, they are combining their expertise and bringing dementia care to a smaller setting.

They recognize the need for dementia care, family involvement, social interaction, and the importance for individualized care.

Our Business

The Bramblewood Home is a five bedroom home located in Vadnais Heights.  The home is handicapped accessible.  The home also has a state of the art security system and smoke detection. 

We provide 24 hour care by trained Home Health Aides and our nursing staff is available on-call 24 hours a day.

Our staff are qualified Home Health Aides.  They too have a compassion for senior care.  Many of our staff are Certified Alzheimer's Caregivers and are trained in medication administration.

Our staff recognize the importance to nurture everyone's mental, physical and spiritual well being.

Who We Are

KATHY MASON 

has worked in senior care for over 35 years in nursing homes, senior living and assisted living. 

 Her background includes recreational therapy in a dementia setting, senior housing management and administrator.  Kathy is a certified Activity Director and a licensed Assisted Living Administrator.

Her caring attitude and compassion for senior care has greatly affected those working with her.

She loves to work hands on and participates in the duties of the home. 

LISA BUTZLAFF 

has worked in senior care for over 19 years in nursing homes and assisted livings.

She too is a certified Activity Director and has worked in recreational therapy with dementia residents and long-term care residents. 

Lisa has worked as a Business Manager, Staffing Coordinator and Supervisor in an Assisted Living facility.  Her responsibilities included recruitment, hiring, orientation and supervising Home Health Aide staff.  She is also  trained in medication administration.

She loves to cook (with the residents), play the piano and have spontaneous activities which brings excitement to the home.

* Kathy and Lisa are also Certified Alzheimers Caregivers.

Our House is the Residents' Home. We encourage family and friends to visit, join us for dinner or coffee on the deck.
